There are many myths about solar energy, since this technology is still very new to some people. To debunk some of these myths, here is a list of the most frequent questions received by our team.

How long is a battery’s useful life?
A 6000-cycle (100% to 0%) lithium battery can last more than 20 years under ideal conditions.

How long are the warranties on batteries, inverters and solar panels?
Batteries are guaranteed for 10 years, inverters are guaranteed for 5 to 10 years, and solar panels are guaranteed for 20 to 25 years (at 90% of their initial capacity).

Will I need to do any special maintenance on my solar panels?
Solar panels simply have to be cleaned in order to optimize their performance.

It is possible to expand my system after a few years?
Yes. You can add more batteries, panels, or even inverters for additional power.

How long does a full installation take?
It takes 2 to 3 days.

Can I install a battery without solar panels?
Yes. In this case, it will act as a generator.

Do solar panels produce energy during the winter?
Yes. That said, snow has to be removed to facilitate energy production.

Do lithium batteries need maintenance?
No maintenance is necessary. The BMS takes care of everything.

Do you offer training on solar system operation?
Yes. We offer our customers training to help them understand all the ins and outs of their system.

My property seems too small for solar panels. Can I still install a solar system?
It may still be possible. Our team will assess your best options after visiting your property.
